Q&A
What are you doing to practice and promote soil and water quality?
Leading conversations with farmers, agronomists, government agencies and others in the ag industry to find, explain and promote sustainable and profitable methods for better stewardship. Developing plans and creating programs that are practical, affordable and sustainable for farmers trying to improve their farm. Training and offering advice to other agronomists and advisors.
What is being done in your county to support soil and water quality?
Cover crops have been rapidly growing in our area. Promoting soil health and water quality by different entities in the industry is really moving things in the right direction.
What could be done with more public funding for soil and water quality?
Increasing promotional incentives to offset rising input costs. Helping the industry infrastructure change to meet new demands, reduce inputs and further responsible stewardship.
